Kinderen van Naomi schamen zich voor haar werk: “Dat is voor mensen zonder diploma”
Working with dedication at McDonald’s for years, Naomi, 42, proudly embodies her work. However, she notices that her children sometimes struggle to express pride in her job.
“They perceive it as something to be ashamed of,” Naomi explains. “To them, working at McDonald’s seems inferior, while I have a different perspective on it.”
For her, the work is meaningful and more than just a job. “I am proud of what I do. McDonald’s has given me many opportunities, and I am grateful for that.”
Initially, Naomi started at McDonald’s for some extra income to support her family. However, she soon discovered that she found satisfaction in the work.
“The pace, the customer interaction, and the responsibility I was given here made it valuable to me,” she elaborates.
